Westfield soccer association bylaws

Mike Pritchard was awarded the District 5 Recreational Coach of the Year Award and Kristine Pursell was awarded the District 5 Chevy Soccer Parent of the Year Award by the Indiana Youth Soccer Association (IYSA). Congratulations to both for honors well deserved and thanks for representing WYSA!

Hosted by Soccer Consultants, FREE coaching clinics will be held on Monday, March 29, and Tuesday, March 30, from 7:30 to 9 PM at the Westfield Intermediate School . Please wear practice attire and suitable footwear (clinic is in the gym) as the sessions involve coaches in the demonstrations. All coaches should bring a ball and notepad.

Tentatively scheduled for July 26-30 from 4-7 pm and from August 2-6 from 4-7 pm. These mandatory camps for WYSA travel players costs will be paid with the travel acceptance/registration. (Note: There may also be a Recreational camp for 4-8 year olds from 3-4 pm prior to the Travel Camps.)

Registrations are over for the Spring 2004 season. Please see the Registration page for more information. Please, please remember that for a child to play in spring 2004, he or she must have been 4 years old by August 1, 2003.

WYSA is dedicated to developing soccer in the Westfield area. WYSA started in 1987 and has grown as the area has grown. This fall (2003), we will have approximately 929 youth particpate in our recreational program, 250 youth in our travel progam and 112 adults participate in our adult coed recreational program. WYSA maintains two sites: Habig Fields at 156th & Carey Rd (~20 acres) and Shamrock Springs Soccer Complex on 161st just west of Springmill Blvd (~25 acres). Click on Wysa Fields to see a map
